Dad has been moved from the hospital to a skilled nursing facility! We are all excited about this change. It means he's one step closer to coming home. He was moved on January 3rd. I went and saw him that night and I was impressed by his cognitive abilities. He's still not 100% but conversations with him have become much easier because he can think more clearly. His legs haven't made a lot of improvement but he can still move both of them.
Bob and Spencer were at the care facility too. Spencer had a great time in the hospital bed next to dad's and playing in his wheelchair.
We have noticed that this facility has much smaller cups than the hospital did. Bob had to make fun.
Bob made a therapy device for dad. It is supposed to help dad's left leg get stronger. Here it is in all it's glory.
