Welcome home!

After 105 days of ICU, rehab and a skilled nursing facility, my dad is finally home! We're all feeling so grateful to have him with us. He's still got a lot of recovering to do but he's made so much progress. 

He is still in a wheelchair but he is able to lift both his left and right leg for short periods of time. He is still able to control and lift his right leg better than his left. Luckily he has great upper body strength so he can do most of the work when transferring him from one place to another. 

Bob has helped a ton by remodeling their bathroom. He ripped out the toilet and sink and replaced them with an ADA toilet and a sink that doesn't have any anything under it so he can pull up to it with his wheelchair. He also made the door wider and replaced the floor.

Mom was able to get a hospital bed for him so that they can lift his legs or his head. We also have a wheelchair lift in the garage. 

Mom is feeling pretty overwhelmed with all that she has to do to care for him, deal with insurance, and take care of the house. Continued prayers are appreciated!
