Doing better

I just talked to mom, she said dad is doing better today. She said the doctors are hoping he can go home tomorrow. She said they took his arterial continuous blood pressure line out today because the longer they have that in the greater the risk for infection. Mom and aunt Christie are there with him right now. She brought a foam pad that they are going to try and put under dad so he is more comfortable. Mom said dad is mentally sharper today and the nurses and doctors keep saying that he looks really good considering all that he has been through.
