Dad looks much better tonight than he did last night. He's thinking more clearly and his color is better. Both mom and dad are feeling good about moving forward with the surgery. He is scheduled to go into surgery at 7:30 am. The surgery lasts 6-8 hrs. If he does well he should be able to come home 3 days later.
Dad had me look at what they put on his legs. This applies pressure to his legs to reduce the risk of blood clots in the legs.
This is another thing dad has to do. He has to suck really hard really fast on this thing every 10-15 mins. This helps him not get pneumonia.
Mom is doing surprisingly well. She is in high spirits and relatively good health.
Dad is sure hooked up to a lot of things.
